“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least of my brothers of mine, you did for me,” Matthew 25:40
In connection with our school mission, we provide numerous opportunities for students to become intentional Disciples of Christ with community service being an integral part of the OLMC School experience.
Each classroom participates in a year-long community service project selected by the students and teacher which help the “least of our brothers.” Our teachers and staff also participate in various service projects throughout the year.
Our students in grades 3 through 8 are encouraged to become altar servers, and our eighth grade students have the opportunity to become masters of ceremonies.
Through these acts of service, students are exposed to the importance of ministry and also learn the order of the Mass, aspects of the Sanctuary, and various altar vessels. Altar serving helps foster a love of faith and can lead towards a life in the vocations.
