Mrs. Ruginis, Obl. SB holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Georgian Court University, a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from American International College, and a Master of Science degree in Catholic School Leadership from the University of Dayton.
She is the Assistant Principal of Academics at Bishop Stang High School, North Dartmouth, MA, where she also co-advises the school’s Christian Service Program (F.I.A.T. - Faith In Action Together). Mrs. Ruginis also serves on the board of Bristol County REC (Residents Encounter Christ) Ministry, and is an Oblate of St. Benedict at Portsmouth Abbey. She has been a member of the OLMC School Board for several years, and presently serves as the chairperson.
Mrs. Ruginis and her family have been members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish since 1984; she and her husband Bob serve as Eucharistic Ministers, chaperones for the youth mission trips to Mustard Seed Communities in Nicaragua, and volunteers at the annual Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. They were honored to serve as the Feast’s Chief Marshals in July 2015.
