Mrs. Federico graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received her certification in elementary education.
She also attended Providence College where she completed the middle school endorsement program.
Mrs. Federico has been teaching for twenty-two years. She loves teaching because she enjoys seeing the growth students make academically and socially. She also enjoys seeing the excitement on students’ faces when they do activities and/or solve problems. The smiles in the classroom say it all.
In addition to teaching Mrs. Federico is the Student Council Advisor.
In the past Mrs. Federico has been a mentor to student teachers enrolled in the Roger Williams University education program. She has also been on NEASC accreditation committees.
Mrs. Fed (as some students call her) loves that OLMC is a close knit community where everyone knows each other or at least your name. No matter what, if there is a need for something the entire school community lends their support.
Mrs. Federico lives with her husband, two children and dog, Luke. She enjoys reading, eating out and summer weather.
"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."
