Ms. Armstrong graduated from Gonzaga University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Special and Elementary Education. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Literacy through the Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers (PACT) program.
Ms. Armstrong is originally from Olympia, WA, and this is her first time living on the East Coast! During her time at Gonzaga, Ms. Armstrong studied abroad in Florence, Italy, lived with a host family, and taught an English class to local fifth grade students. One summer, she volunteered as a music teacher at a summer camp in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. These experiences helped Ms. Armstrong realize her love for traveling and teaching children.
When she's not teaching, Ms. Armstrong enjoys cooking, writing, dancing, hiking, singing, and playing the piano. She is thrilled to be a part of the OLMC community, and looks forward to learning alongside her students throughout the coming year.
"Love is never stationary. In the end, love doesn't just keep thinking about it or keep planning for it. Simply put: love does." - Bob Goff
