Parish CommunityOur school is part of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, located at 141 State Street.
The parish was founded in 1917, following an 18-year tradition begun in 1899 by the Italian immigrants who came to this area honoring Mary, Queen of Carmel with a feast and procession each year on the 16th of July. This feast continues to this day in prayerful and joyous festivities.
