Subject specialists work together as a dedicated team to teach mathematics, language arts, and science. Students become more independent in their learning as concepts are introduced through project-based tasks and exploration. Peer interactions continue to be an opportunity for learning positive decision-making skills. Teachers support students as their peer relationships become more sophisticated at this age. They foster an environment where all are welcome.
Technology supports student exploration and also assists in assessing student learning. Students are encouraged to advocate for themselves as they build confidence in their learning. Most importantly, the Catholic faith is interwoven throughout the entire curriculum.
Our middle school team of teachers is dedicated to helping all students build a foundation of knowledge and faith that will help students transition smoothly to the next level of their educational journey.
Our Eighth Grade students are guided as they go through the high school application process. Students have gone on to attend many area Catholic high schools, including Bishop Hendricken High School, Bishop Feehan High School, Bishop Stang High School, La Salle Academy, and others. Students also go on to local area public high schools and are well-prepared for their programs.
